What do you do if public transport gropers aren’t put off by jail or a fine?
One answer is to set aside women only coaches. Most of the train companies in Japan have labelled up a coach or two in every train for women only.
Any reduction on a factor that might put off a woman from travelling is crucial. In a world were men tend to drive and women and children often use public transport, access to problem free public transport is vital for a full quality of life, be it access to work, school or public services.
